1. Who Can Use Our App

• The app is designed for children to learn financial literacy
• Parents or guardians must supervise and approve app usage for children under 18
• One child profile per device for a personalized learning experience
• No account creation is required to use the app
• You can start using the app immediately after download

2. What You Can and Can't Do

You Can:

• Use the app to teach children about money management
• Set savings goals and track progress
• Manage virtual allowances and chore rewards
• Share achievement cards when goals are reached
• Use all features without creating an account

You Can't:

• Use the app for illegal activities
• Try to hack or damage our systems
• Use the app to harm others or engage in fraudulent activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
• Create multiple child profiles on the same device

3. Educational Purpose and Virtual Money

Important: This is for Learning Only

• Simpler Budget: Monarch is an educational financial literacy tool
• All money tracking in the app represents real money managed by parents/guardians
• The app helps track and visualize real allowances, chore earnings, and savings
• No actual financial transactions occur through the app
• Parents are responsible for managing the real money that corresponds to app entries

4. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your family's privacy completely:

• We do not track your usage or behavior
• We do not store your personal data on our servers
• All data is stored securely in your personal iCloud account
• We do not collect, share, or sell any personal information
• No account creation means no personal data is required from you
• Your child's financial learning data remains completely private

5. Your Content and Data

When you use the app:

• All savings goals, progress, and financial data sync with your iCloud
• You maintain full ownership and control of your information
• We cannot access your family's data
• Data syncing requires iCloud to be enabled on your device
• You're responsible for managing your iCloud storage and backups

6. Subscription and Fees

• The app offers flexible subscription plans (monthly or yearly)
• All subscription fees will be clearly displayed in the App Store before purchase
• Subscriptions can be managed and cancelled through your Apple ID settings
• No hidden charges or additional in-app purchases
• Subscription terms are subject to Apple's App Store policies

7. Parental Responsibility

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

• Supervising their child's use of the app
• Managing real money that corresponds to app entries
• Ensuring age-appropriate usage
• Teaching financial concepts alongside app usage
• Monitoring achievement sharing and celebrations

8. Achievement Sharing

• Children can share achievement cards when reaching savings goals
• Shared content should be appropriate and family-friendly
• Parents should supervise what achievements are shared and with whom
• We are not responsible for shared content or social interactions

9. Legal Disclaimer

Warranties

The app is provided "as is." While we work hard to keep it running smoothly, we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly.

Liability Limits

We're not responsible for:

• Lost data due to device or iCloud issues
• Educational outcomes or financial decisions
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Any damages resulting from app usage
